Burial sites are a spiritual compass for my photographic journey. I have visually explored the blending of Anglo, Hispanic, and Native American burial rituals and memorial symbols throughout the Southwest. My images convey traditions that comfort, identify and unite us. I hope the Sites & Symbols Series offers a continuity of peace to balance today with yesterday, life with death, secular with spiritual, and the individual with their heritage and community.
